Both fallopian tubes are damaged or blocked

When one partner is known to be a carrier of genetic disorder, IVF with embryo biopsy and pre implantation genetic diagnosis, can pre determine the affected embryos and hence avoid transmission of the genetic disorder to the offspring.

Advanced female age
IVF is the best fertility treatment option for women trying t conceive after the age of 40 years as such women have very low chances of conception from any other treatment due to impaired oocyte quality.
