After 16 years of battling primary infertility and enduring six failed IVF cycles, a couple from Rajasthan arrived at Sunflower Women’s Hospital, holding onto a final thread of hope. The 30-year-old woman had been experiencing a distressing symptom—something protruding per vagina. Upon examination, she was diagnosed with a third-degree uterovaginal prolapse, along with an adenomyotic uterus, an endometrial polyp, decreased ovarian reserve (AMH: 0.4), and right hydrosalpinx. Her husband’s semen analysis was normal.

Understanding the complexity of her condition, our team recommended a laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy. With trust in her heart, she underwent the procedure. Once recovered, we initiated IVF stimulation. The first ICSI cycle resulted in two Day 3 embryos, which were frozen. Knowing her limited ovarian reserve, we advised a second stimulation and retrieval to improve her chances. This time, she produced two more Day 3 embryos and one Day 5 embryo, all cryopreserved.

Before proceeding further, a hysteroscopy was performed to address her adenomyotic uterus. With her endometrium prepared, a Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) cycle was planned. However, the heartbreak of a negative beta-hCG test left her devastated. She began to consider donor eggs or surrogacy, fearing that her body would never support a pregnancy.

We counseled her, urging her to believe in one last attempt—with her own embryo, in her own womb. With courage and trust, she agreed. This time, fate was on her side. She conceived, and today, she carries a healthy single pregnancy.

A journey filled with setbacks, resilience, and faith finally led to the miracle she had been waiting for.
