What is hysteroscopy ?
Hysteroscopy is a medical procedure where a thin, lighted tube (hysteroscope) is inserted through the cervix into the uterus to examine the inside of the uterus. It can be used for both diagnostic purposes, like identifying the cause of abnormal bleeding or infertility, and for operative purposes, such as removing polyps or fibroids or adhesions.
