Objectives & Aims

• Very enthusiastic clinical approach was learned from the very beginning of the career as a medical student (Under graduation) where we used to move with junior doctors even on Sundays. The same trend continued as a PG student where it was not only Gynaec emergencies but also any general surgical emergencies were attended which yielded fruitful experience of clinics. During my career as a private consultant also I started many FIRST in my area.

Sunflower Women's Hospital - Our Dream

• Herewith we start Sunflower Women's Hospital, a super specialty hospital in Ahmedabad.
• Its a primly located exclusive women's hospital spreaded in 22000 sq. ft. area having its own parking, electric substation, Power backup, water supply, Pharmacy, Cafeteria, Hi fi endocrinology lab, NICU, Specious waiting lounge, Conference Hall, 25 beded indoor facility, 1 delivery suit, 1 endoscopy OT, One conventional OT, andrology lab and IVF Lab & OT.
• We are recognized for infertility and Sonography training.
• We are backed by strong team of 9 gynaecologists, anesthesiologist, embryologist, medical officers and para-medical staff.

Our focus is on

Infertility:

• We do total infertility work up for male & female patients with state of art facility for Sonography, monitoring, IUI, IVF-ET, ICSI, LAH, Blastocyst culture, Cryo-preservation of sperm & embryo, egg sharing and surrogate motherhood program.

Endoscopy:

• Having Ligasure, Harmonic scalpel, Digital Image Plus Camera & all sundrey instrumentation. We do fertility enhancing & other gynaecological endoscopies.

Maternity:

• We take care of our high risk antenatal patients.

Sonography:

• Having high end models of TVS & Color Doppler with each consultant and also have Voluson 730 4D Sonography Units.

2004-2009 as Director & Head of the IVF Department of Mayflower Women's Hospital

• During my 5 years in Mayflower I was instrumental to promote vaginal surgeries by scissors and knife very successfully . Also delivered more then 200 IVF babies by IVF ICSI procedures.
• I was organizing chairmen & Faculty at 1st National Conference of ART and Endoscopy - Progress & Challenges in Infertility and Endoscopy at Ahmedabad in Feb-2006.

1996-2004 as a senior consultant & IVF specialist at Mehsana

• Started my IVF centre in 1996 at Mehsana, a district place, and was instrumental to deliver our first IVF Baby in Feb '98, first egg donation pregnancy, first cryo preserve pregnancy, first embryo donation pregnancy of North Gujarat. Subsequently we delivered some 23 children in spite of low number of cycles.
• Also became president of Mehsana Ob/Gy society in 1999.
• Visited Dubai for infertility conference.
• Hosted silver jubilee SOGOG conference in year 2001.
• I was honored by Bestowing state president-ship of association of Gynaecologists of Gujarat (SOGOG) in year 2001-2002.
• I worked as a president of IMA-Mehsana in year 2002-2003.
• I visited Germany for special training in laser.
• I have been faculty in many workshops, CME at state and national level.
• Conducted IUI and vaginal hysterectomy workshops.

1994-1996

• Started our IUI lab & was found very helpful in achieving many pregnancies among infertile couples.
• Worked as an honorary secretary of Mehsana Ob/Gy Society for about 10 years.

1994

• Started microsurgical reversal among tubectomised patients and had encouraging results. Also have my TVS unit first in our area.

1986-1994

• Had my first linear ultrasound of the area

1982-1986

• Shifted in my new hospital premise in '82.
• Started Mehsana Ob/Gy Society as a charter secretary in 1984 & hosted first state conference of Ob/Gy

1980

• Started my career as junior consultant in the city of Mehsana.

1978-1979

• Was senior registrar in the department of OBGY at Civil Hospital and B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad.

1976-1978

• Worked as a resident in the department of OBGY at Civil Hospital and B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad
• Passed MD exam in 1978.
• Passed DGO exam in 1977.

1970-1976

• Did my MBBS from B.J.MC CHA, Ahmedabad.
• I am a Rotarian.
• Poetry, painting, sculpture, sports, debates are my hobbies.
